And the procrastination continues...

How is it fair that I am stuck here typing up meeting notes while Dork is off vacationing throughout Egypt with his family and Dorker snags a gig as a presenter at the Spanish Music Awards? URGH. *headdesk*

Sidenote: you don't think the Temple of Amun is still functioning in Siwa??? Upon his visit there AtG was declared a god. I'm seeing a potential deification in the works.
  • Current Location: HERE not THERE
  • Current Mood: envious envious
  • Current Music: the chanting of the priests of Amun

I was supposed to go and translate hieroglyphs etc for him...obviously I'm here instead...@#$%&*...he's wandering around Kemet without me...ok so my middle Egyptian to Spanish may need some polishing but still....@#$%&*
I can't believe his vacation is already over. Poor kid only really gets one maybe two weeks max off a year and here I am complaining. I'm certain he would have enjoyed your translation skills although I think I would have enjoyed it even more watching the two of you attempting to figure out what the heck you are both trying to say. Como??? No understand....Now if it were say 2000+ years ago, I would have toured him around Alexandria...the library (well what was left of it) and museion, the lighthouse, the palace *gets misty eyed*...Hey don't you think Uncle Toni would have made a great centurion???

Alas, back to the real world. My guess is Rafa didn't opt for the extension to visit Petra or take that sunrise trek to climb Mt. Sinai. Did I mention there is no way this boy would ever be my Amazing Race partner?!

Oh gods let us be thankful he/the family didn't because I don't think anyone could take more of his sister's complaining especially climbing Sinai...I can see Uncle Toni wanting to smak her and yes he would have made a good centurion...and a hot one too! Oh and I think Rafa would find Petra an "unbelievable" place don't you? I can see him just standing there staring up at the buildings.

Yes, 'un-bee-leeaf-abull", *shakes head* "I never"

I doubt Mirabel would have liked Mt. Sinai - the minute she started whining they would have left her at the monastery at the base of the mountain. That in itself would have likely caused more than enough complaints from her to warrant the monks themselves putting her out to pasture with the livestock.

OMGS stop my sides hurt...I can see her face after they do it too...and Uncle Toni's thinking "that'll teach ya!"
She should be thankful it's a monastery not a NUNNERY or else they would likely leave her there....permanently.
