Twilight - Fictional Characters

Writer's Block: On Character Preferences

Who is your favorite fictional character? Why do you love them? What fictional character bugs you?
Since I have a thing for historical fiction, most of the 'fictional' characters I love are actually based on real people - of note, Cesare Borgia, Jesus, Judas and various Templars. If I had to choose my favourite pure fictional character it would be Andre Marek of Timeline  -  he is pretty much my perfect man and I can relate to someone who truly believes he should have lived during another era. I once posted all my favourite quotes related to Andre Marek and I think it is high time I revisited them. And please do not even dare to compare the movie version of Andre Marek to the book version of Andre Marek - two completely different characters IMO!!

Aside from my Marek-lust, I completely enjoyed Crawley and Aziraphale from Good Omens and Biff from Lamb: The Gospel According to Biff, Christ's Childhood Pal. They made me laugh. As for female characters, my favourites are from Marion Zimmer Bradley's novels - Morgaine from The Mists of Avalon and Kassandra from The Firebrand. Both were very strong-willed and intelligent but yet with so much vulnerability. *sigh* Just writing this post makes me want to reread all those books!! Characters that bug me: any poor representation of a historical personage (sorry but I absolutely loathed the way Anne Boleyn was depicted in The Other Boleyn Girl).
