eReader Update

Kobo eReader update….since the purchase of my eReader I have been devouring all the classic novels that come free on it. To date I have read (or re-read in some cases),  Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, Through the Looking Glass, Peter Pan, The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, Dracula, Frankenstein, The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde and I’m currently reading The Time Machine. I’ll probably keep reading the classics for a while as there are quite a few I’d like to go through before I actually purchase some new books  to read during my Christmas vacation week.

I love the eReader. It is so light and portable. I have only needed to recharge it once since I purchased it. My favourite feature though has to be the padded, quilted back. The most annoying part about reading books is that they are difficult to hold or too heavy since the epics I read tend to be massive…I’m talking to you here Mr. George R.R. Martin and Ms Margaret George!!  This eReader must have been ergonomically designed because my hand never gets tired holding it. It is so comfortable.

P.S. Let’s not discuss the Uruguay Chile match please. Didn’t see it, don’t wanna know. I'll go on the assumption that they lost and that NONE of the players I like participated.

I loved the Time Machine! I need to get an e-reader *sigh*
Time Machine is done...I've moved on to War of the Worlds now.

I'm not sure if an eReader would be useful for your. Most of the YA novels aren't on eReader. And no reading in the bath :(
Suddenly an e-reader has my interest... I love classics. And I agree-- some books are a physical pain to read at times. I used to read books on my cellphone, but then the format for how internet pages loaded on phones changed, and now I can't.

(and hey, hi, long time, no talk)
The eReader is great and yes it was such a bonus to have 100 classics pre-loaded. I'm not sure what cellphone you use but the program I use for my eReader (Kobo) offers a free app download for smartphones and you can download all the free classics you want from there (www.kobobooks.com)That may work for you if you want to give it a try.
