QOTD- Answer for question 4176.

What would you say is your favorite album/CD of all time?
In typical fashion, I have list...

1. All Along the Watchtower (Jimi Hendrix)
2. Smooth (Santana)
3. Scarborough Fair (Simon + Garfunkel)
4. September (EW+F)
5. What's Going On (Marvin Gaye)
6. Riders on the Storm (The Doors)
7. Gimme Shelter (The Rolling Stones)

And there you have it. Currently listening to and loving Uptown Funk. That song is arguably the best song released in 20 years and is such an homage to the great R&B/Funk performers of the past (The Time, James Brown, Rick James, Prince and EW+F). Other than that, isn't the new Hozier song brilliant?? I can't get enough of it. The latest cds from Maroon 5 and Ed Sheeran are also on my happy playlist. Missing Florence + The Machine though and patiently awaiting a new cd.

Oh wow. This floored me. All Along the Watchtower is my favourite Jimi Hendrix song ever and my hubby was just asking me the other day which one of his songs I liked best. I love your list. I also really like Smooth, Riders on the Storm and Gimme Shelter. And recently I downloaded the new Ed Sheeran and Maroon 5 albums too, along with Taylor Swift's, U2's and Nicki Minaj's. Also picked up some tunes from Ariana Grande, whom I like a lot. I went back in time and downloaded an album from the Allman Brothers band because I watched a movie in which one of their songs was played and I got all nostalgic for them.
Oooh I love the Allman Brothers and as I was reviewing my fav songs from 2014 I realized how much I enjoyed Ariana Grande as well. We do have similar taste in music.
