Spring

Groundhog Day 2016

According to tradition, if the groundhog doesn't see its shadow when it emerges from its burrow on Groundhog Day, an early spring is in store. It was three against one today with Nova Scotia's Shubenacadie Sam, Staten Island Chuck and Punxsutawny Phil all in agreement: expect an early spring this year. Ontario's Wiarton Willie was the naysayer predicting six more weeks of winter.

Sorry to tell you this Willie but it’s going to be 14 degrees in Toronto tomorrow...I’m sticking with the majority on this one.

I guess we just have to wait a few more days now until some rodent, amphibian or other four-legged critter predicts the Super Bowl outcome.
