Freebies & Rasputin...

The Toronto Star is once again giving me free newspapers. I have a subscription for Saturday & Sunday delivery only but every few months they give me free delivery for the entire week. This free service will continue until the end of April. YAY!!

I have been eating so healthy lately yet I find my stomach has actually been bothering me. Explain please??

I am about to receive a Chapters/Indigo gift certificate. I have my choice of using it wisely - that is, renewing my membership and purchasing Volumes 7 & 8 of Cantarella as well as the recently released novel, The Secret Magdalene. Or, I could use it poorly, cave to my current desires and purchase The Tudors dvd (which I know full well will still be there waiting for me in April when I have the $$ to purchase it). Hmmm, decisions, decisions.

AO Draw is later today. *crosses fingers* .

Paul just walked into my office to provide me with the 300 dvd. Guess what I'm watching this weekend??? Woohoo.

And last but not least...on this date in history:

January 10, 1869: Rasputin was born
Born Grigory Yefimovich Novykh (Jan 10, 1869) in the peasant village of Pokrovskoe (near the Ural mountains), the enigmatic Siberian mystic and Machiavellian political rogue known as 'Rasputin' (Russian for 'debauched one' or 'the dissolute') played a key role int the downfall of the Romanov imperial dynasty.

"When the bell tolls three times, it will announce that I have been killed. If I am killed by common men, you and your children will rule Russia for centuries to come; if I am killed by one of your stock, you and your family will be killed by the Russian people! Pray Tsar of Russia. Pray." - Grigori Rasputin
