A chilly reception...

What a chilly reception....I walk in to my office this morning to find out that the heaters were not on (in the entire office building) and the temperature is 57 degrees (approx 13-14 celsius... not much warmer than outside IMO). Everything is working now but the thermometer hasn't gone past 67 and I'm still in my boots, two sweaters and gloves. Brrrrr. Today we were supposed to go for Christmas lunch but that was ppd until Wednesday since the boss did not make it in. Since none of our staff brought lunch, we ordered Mr. Greek and I'm awaiting for it to arrive. *is starving*

I won ProLine this weekend, thanks to Palermo, Udinese and Napoli. Great games. And then Sunday happened. Since I went shopping I didn't get to see any of the Sunday games. I do regret not having seen the Real Madrid victory even though the players I like were all absent. J-Mo I'm certain was in fine form as usual. The other game, the Lazio-Juve match, was too much torture for me. I hate it when teams I like play each other. This was the not unlike the Palermo-Napoli match last week. I know that draws tend to hinder rather than help teams in their championship quests but I really hate to see either team lose hence I was hoping for the draw. That said, a great dramatic home victory for Juventus was just what they needed. As I look at the Serie A standings four of the five top teams are my favs. Now if I can just find a way to knock AC Milan off the top that would be perfect. As a side, if Fernando Muslera needs a shoulder to cry on, I'm there...

I had a fantastic time shopping on Sunday with amdisa  and niviene . The Eaton Centre was surprisingly not that crowded considering Christmas is only two weeks away. Only problem was we were kind of rushed a little and I was only able to purchase the items on my list that I needed rather than the gift purchases. I just need to find some time to pop by the mall and pick up those gifts. It won't take that long. I should be able to get it done later this week, likely on Thursday, when I will be going to Yonge + Eglinton.

Congratulate me for surviving the weekend without a new episode of Merlin. I really don't know how I'm going to last without that show. First The Tudors and now Merlin. Waaaaahhhhh!! Congrats to the doctors for winning The Amazing Race. The first all female team to win. About friggin' time. Congrats to the TV hosts who came in second and kept the series entertaining. I'm glad to see both the teams I  like finish first and second. I did rent three DVDs (The Sorcerer's Apprentice, Inception, a new version of The Hound of the Baskervilles) to watch sometime this week. I'll let you know how they are when I get through them. I still haven't seen any movies at the cinemas...that will likely happen next weekend. I'm in progress through Around the World in 80 Days. They've traveled through India and are now entering China. Not bad so far.

Mr. Greek just arrived so I'm off for lunch now. After lunch, the BIG EPL game = Arsenal vs Man U. Later....
