Quick soccer tally for my teams this weekend:
- Napoli - beat Roma 2-0. LOL. And guess who scored the two goals to keep himself atop the Serie A scoring race with 20? Mmmhmmm....him again. Couldn't ask for a better result in that game :)
- Palermo - up at
7:30 am for the second half6:30 am on Sunday to watch them lose...NOT GOOD
- Lazio - a clean sheet for Muslera and a 2-0 away victory for Lazio moved them back to third place...this without Floccari or Mauri
- Juventus - beat Inter with the one goal from Matri.
- Real Madrid - Iker was shown a straight red within the first three minutes of the game so Real Madrid played a man down and with their back up goalie for the duration of the match. If Adebayor actually managed to get any goals (which he didn't, even though he should have, on NUMEROUS occasions) Real would have won about 4-0. As it was, they still won 1-0. Truthfully it was a great team performance. I think that having Iker kicked out made the team come together to overcome the setback. The defence, even without Sergio for most of the match, was arguably the best I've seen all season. Adan performed admirably in net as well and I have no problem seeing him back again next week as Iker serves out the suspension.
