Writer's Block: Once upon a time…

What is the first line of your favorite book?

You would think this is a relatively easy question but I have THREE favourite contemporary books and each of them have Prologues in addition to "first lines". Below are my three favourite books, including the first line in the Prologue and the first line in the book proper. Can you guess what the books are?

Book #1
Prologue: The angel was clearing out his closets when the call came.
First line: You think you know how this story is going to end, but you don't.

Book #2
Prologue: The day was grey and bitter cold, and the dogs would not take the scent.
First line: An east wind blew through his tangled hair, as soft and fragrant as Cersei's fingers.

Book #3
Prologue: In my time I have been called many things: sister, lover, priestess, wise-woman, queen.
First line: Even in high summer, Tintagel was a haunted place; Igraine, Lady of Duke Gorlois, looked out over the sea from the headland.

You should be able to guess the second and third ones given the names being bantered about. If you know me well enough, you should even get the first one. Bonus points if you can figure out who the character P.O.V is from Book 2.

P.S. As I typed the lines from #3 I realized that I actually prefer another book by the same author but I don't have the book handy to quote from it so I'll have to post that one later.

What's the name of the third book? I swear I've read it but I can't remember which one it is.
Book 1 is LAMB lol
Book 2 is I think is from one of the A Song of Fire and Ice books...not sure which but not A Game of Thrones....I'm guessing from Jaime's pov?
Book 3 is Mists of Avalon but for a split second I thought it was from The Firebrand..

1. "Rocks, Josh, far as the eye can see." You know the book I'm reading now? Raziel is one of the key historical characters/angels in it. Raziel is not in it himself per se but he has a main part re: the background of the novel. And I have to try to keep a straight face whenever I read his name. I'm supposed to have some respect for the character but Lamb pretty much shot that one for me. LOL
2. 100% correct on the POV but not A Game of Thrones, it is another one of the ASOIAF novels. I love that you spell his name properly. I have difficulty spelling the name now when I come across it in transfers. Most everyone spells it Jamie and I want to correct them and spell it Jaime. I blame GRRM for that.
3. correct - yes, the prologue could easily have been from The Firebrand but once you mention Tintagel and Igraine I'm pretty sure we are no longer in Troy...LOL (by the way I think if it came down to it I like MoA as much as The Firebrand - they are equally as good as each other)
but not A Game of Thrones, it is another one of the ASOIAF novels

See I knew it wasn`t AGOT but some other one! *so proud of self* I remember seeing Jaime spelled that way on something for AGOT and it stuck lol

Exactly I was going by the prologue initially then I read the first line and said nope!
