Cersei - Judging You

Game of Thrones as cartoon characters...

Great article/media I stumbled across depicting the various Game of Thrones characters as 80/90s cartoon characters...take a look through the gallery and let me know what you think.

My comments:
  • Jaime's sideburns *fail*
  • Jon Snow is a lot closer to how I imagined him...albeit a tad older, but no complaints here
  • Renly looks a bit too 'manly'
  • Love the Mad King's fingernails
  • Rhaegar Targaryen could be Lucius Malfoy's double
  • Euron Greyjoy - arguably my fav of the cartoon caricatures - just like I imagined the ole pirate
  • Aeron Greyjoy inspired by Rasputin?
  • Ser Loras looks more book Loras pretty rather than TV (Finn) Loras pretty
  • Rodrick Cassel, Littlefinger (Petyr Baelish) and Maester Luwin are EXACTLY like TV version
  • Arthur Dayne should be prettier...just sayin'
  • Jaqen H'ghar...second fave...love the coin...nice touch...Valar Morghulis
  • Gendry wishes
  • MEERA REED…*please don't cut the Reeds from the series*
  • For the life of me I can't remember who Brynden Rivers is?
  • I like Varamyr Sixskins ' eagle
  • Current Location: my library

Lancel will return this weekend...yay :) I believe you've read the book (if not, mild spoiler ahead) you will recall the scene between Lancel and Tyrion wherein Tyrion coerces Lancel to spy on Cersei. Lancel show up later on as well - he has a part to play in the siege of King's Landing. So more Lancel is definitely on the way.

Jaqen is one of my fav peripheral characters from the series. I always viewed him as the heir apparent to Syrio as Arya's tutor. I never considered the possibility that Jaqen is actually the reincarnation of Syrio...given Jaqen's ability to change his visual appearance though I'd love to see that be the case. It is completely viable. Definitely though Syrio and Jaqen are played by two different actors.

I looked up Brynden Rivers to find out who the heck he was and got this:
"Lord Brynden Rivers, called "Bloodraven", was a legitimized Great Bastard of Aegon IV and Mylessa Blackwood, his sixth mistress. His personal arms were a white dragon with red eyes breathing red flame on a black field. During his life, he was a Targaryen loyalist during the Blackfyre Rebellion, the Hand of Aerys I, and Lord Commander of the Night's Watch. Shiera Seastar, another bastard of Aegon IV, was his mistress. His half-brother Bittersteel desired Shiera also, which served in increasing the enmity between the two. He was thought to be a sorcerer. The evidence in A Dance with Dragons strongly suggests him to be the three-eyed crow."

And I still don't remember who he is/was in the books.

I also can't wait for the Wall scenes with the army of Wildlings. Will be very cool :)
