Divergent and other YA novels...

Divergent - Yes I’ve read the book. It was decent enough – both as a book and a movie. The only problem is I never really bought into the concept of these factions in a dystopian society. I can’t think of a single person who could be so easily pinioned into one faction exclusively. Theo James did a great job as Four...but I can't say as I liked Shailene Woodley as Tris. Ugh, give me Julie Kagawa’s vampire dystopian trilogy over this any day.  Mind you I usually prefer the book to the movie...I suspect if they ever do adapt JK's trilogy into a movie I probably will be disappointed with it in the end. Speaking of JK, the final book in the vampire trilogy is finally out next month. Right now, though, I'm re-reading the first two books in The Daughter of Smoke and Bone trilogy in preparation for the final novel which is going to be released in a couple of days...can't wait. Angels, chimaera, Akiva, Liraz...*squee*
